I'm at my best when I'm figuring out how systems work and how real people experience them — doing whatever the problem needs, whether that be research, writing, process design, or building tools from scratch. Most recently that meant designing and building Shortlist, an AI-powered job matching app, independently and without a traditional technical background.
I'm a professional photographer, a novice painter and aspirational interior designer, writer, gardener, and cook. I pick up new skills (like Claude Code) compulsively. People are sometimes surprised by the range. But it tracks because it's the same exact instincts and drive that make me a strong team contributor and leader.
